Last week, we reported on how the Honor 7X from Huawei would be exclusive to Amazon in India. Registrations for the device opened up that same day as well. Now, Honor has announced a contest for registered users that could win them one of over a thousand different prizes ranging from earphones all the way up to vacation trips.
The Huawei Honor 7X will be revealed on 5th December 2017 at an event to be held in London. However, the terms and conditions page says registration does end on December 27th so the company could launch it after that, or it could be held back until the start of next year.
The Honor 7X from Huawei comes equipped with a 5.93″ Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Inside, it has the HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, the Mali-T830MP2 GPU from ARM, 4GB of RAM and will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage configurations.
The Honor 7X also has a 16MP primary camera paired with a 2MP secondary camera on the back of the device and it will be running Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1. There's a 3,340mAh battery powering all of this and it will be priced at CNY 1,299 (~$196) for the 32GB variant, CNY 1,699 (~$256) for the 64GB variant and CNY 1,999 (~$301) for the 128GB variant. This shows they are targeting a wide range of customers in the low-end to mid-range segment.
