Caution:**This ROM and thread is Only applicable for 2014818, 2014811 and 2014817 Redmi 2/PRIME LTE models...Not suitable for 2014813*
Everything is possible in FASTBOOT*
Requirements:
1: pc with windows 7
2: A quality usb data cable
3: ADB and Fastboot with drivers
4: Redmi 2**Fastboot Rom
5: 7zip extractor
6: A Pleasent mind to work after reading the above requirements properly*
Driver Installation procedure:
**
1: Download and extract adb drivers anywhere in your computer
2: Boot your phone into fastboot mode by pressing volume down key and pressing power key simultaneously , and then releasing power key
3: Connect your redmi 2 to your computer through data cable
4: Windows searches automatically but doesn't install driver
5: Go to computer/devicemanager
6: Select android with exlamation mark and select update driver
7: Don't select automatic.. select manual method and locate your downloaded driver's folder .. ignore warnings..*
* * Finally drivers installed as shown in the pictures..
Restore to OEM FULL Flash fastboot method:
1: Extract downloaded fastboot rom using 7zip... (contains nearly 1.9gb)
(My suggetion: Extract all files to C:\.. .*desktop extraction not recommended)
2: Extracted folder contains some*.bat*files ,images*and*symbols*folder..
3: Copy all files from extracted adb and fastboot folder(adb.exe,fastboot.exe,adbwinapi.dll and adbwinusbapi.dll) and paste**into extracted**fastboot rom folder..* *(if you are facing any errors.. please paste these files to images folder)
4: Must check your phone whether it displaysfastboot mode*
5: Double click*flash_all.bat*file
**Please wait for 3 to 5 mins... your phone (Redmi2/Prime) will be flashed to factory OEM and rebooted
