Xtrememusic does not work

when i flash the current version of xtrememusic it stucks on the boot screen . is there any way to solve this as i remember that a previous version (maybe v4 or v5, the one with xtremeequilizer) used to work fine . i use a moto v 2015 (xt1550) running rr 5.5.9 lollipop on bluspark kernel..
Any help would be highly appreiciated. Thanks in advance
