From what we know so far, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus devices are likely to be the first commercial devices which will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC.
Qualcomm's collaboration with Samsung to bring in 10nm fabrication process could be giving the latter exclusive usage on the upcoming Snapdragon 835, even if due to sheer production ramping and scheduling issues. Other OEMs either have to wait for Samsung's order to be completely satisfied by the gradually-increasing production, or opt for the Snapdragon 821 instead for their early 2017 flagships.
The Snapdragon 835 might not the only SoC that Samsung will use on the upcoming Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus apparently. Samsung took to Twitter to tease the upcoming 'Exynos 9' chipset series.
The previous Exynos SoC in the Galaxy S7 and Note 7 is the Exynos 8890 Octa, which was built on the 14nm FinFET fabrication process. The jump in naming convention seems warranted as the next Exynos will most definitelt come on Samsung's 10nm fabrication process. Other details for the SoC remain unknown and up for speculation.
The next Samsung flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, will likely sport the best in terms of Exynos SoC for its international variants, as has been the trend in recent years. We're inclined to believe that the Exynos 9 series will be powering the next flagship, but as rumors go, any news is not confirmed until it comes directly from the horse's mouth.
