It has been discovered that the camera module in the Redmi Note 3 Pro can record 1080p video at 60FPS. For whatever reason, this capability is left out in Xiaomi's stock MIUI software, but a root mod from XDA Senior Member otyg will unlock this feature. The guide lays out everything you need to do and includes using a different camera application while using a modified media_profiles_8956.xml file in the /etc directory. Alternatively, there's also a Magisk script for a systemless modification method for using that modified XML file.
