We're making strides with our partnership with Honor, including the release of a handful of custom ROMs for the Honor 8 Pro thanks to enterprising devs in the community that are using the kernel source for the 8 Pro. We're still waiting for kernel source for the Honor 9, which Honor assures us is coming soon, but despite that, you can run LineageOS 14.1 and OpenKirin's RROS on Honor's latest flagship if you're looking for a software experience that differs from EMUI.
As part of our work with Honor, we have the ongoing Community Incentive Program where XDA members are rewarded for posting quality content in any of our Honor forums.
