T-Mobile Revvl Rumored to Launch on August 10th

Back in May of this year, we heard a rumor that talked about T-Mobile releasing an upcoming smartphone called the Revvl. At the time, we didn't have much to go on other than bits and pieces of hardware specs, but now it seems we're getting closer to a launch date. If true, some new marketing material that has been leaked suggests the upcoming T-Mobile Revvl will be made available to its customers starting in just a few days on August 10th.

The original leak came to us from Android Authority who said T-Mobile had partnered with TCL to manufacture these new phones. For those unaware, TCL is the OEM who currently makes some of BlackBerry's devices, and who also makes the phones for Alcatel. The original rumor said TCL would be making the Revvl T1, Revvl T2 and then the Revvl T3 Pro for T-Mobile, but the only information they had was for the T1.

This T1 is likely what is being shown off on the T-Mobile website right now as most of the rumored specs matches what has been confirmed. It was TmoNews who was sent a photo of what claimed to be some marketing material for the T-Mobile Revvl. This image shows us some of the alleged hardware specs, and then says it is going to be launched on the 10th of August. At the time it was still just rumored, but now the device is showing up on T-Mobile's support website.

This support page was discovered by Android Police and it can be found right here. Not only is the name confirmed, but we can now see multiple images of the device and a list of what is assumed to be official hardware specs. Since the hardware specs are so close to what we've seen rumored, and what appears in the leaked marketing material, it's likely that what is shown on that page isn't just a placeholder.

The company says the T-Mobile Revvl has a 5.5″ 720p display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 3,000mAh capacity battery, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
