Retain dates after files are transferred to phone using MTP mode?

Hi, so most of you probably know that once certain files have been transferred to the phone from PC using MTP mode, the transferred file will have their "Last Modified" date changed to the day you transferred the files.

Now, clearly there doesn't seem to be any fix for this at the moment, so I was wondering if anyone knows any kind of temporary workaround for this, so that I can retain the dates of my files?
